Mechanical Failure Analysis

Many if not most failures involve some form of a mechanical engineered device. ARA has a compressive lab tailored to analyzing mechanical failures. We have experts that cover automotive, industrial, civil, construction, and many more specific areas where mechanical failures occur. We commonly analyze how physics and the limits of materials interact within components and systems. Our mechanical analysis capabilities include both destructive and non-destructive techniques from tensile and compressive testing to radiography and electron microscopy. We perform customized testing and analysis as well as employing computer aided analysis from finite element analysis to computed tomography.
