ARAI’s Investigations of Medical Equipment

ARAI’s investigations of medical equipment include analysis of design and operation, testing of equipment, and technical analysis of malfunctions. These investigations typically require research for compliance with industry and safety standards, manufacturer’s design guidelines and component compatibility. ARAI has also been engaged in patent infringement matters to assist in determining technical similarities and differences between designs. ARAI has been involved in two of the largest medical component failure issues over the past two decades with Shiley heart valves and Telectronics pacemaker leads.
